There are some great tips and explanations of some of the industry jargon. Now it's time for you to create your listing details. Creating your listing may seem a little daunting, but we've made it easy and we're always happy to provide advice and help throughout the process.

When you’ve completed your listing, we’ll check and approve it to go live. You'll do one final check, preview it, then tick ‘Publish now’. Ta Da!! All the world can now see your property, so kick back (we know you’ll be still on the couch) and relax. Proppy will provide key marketing statistics under your listing which are updated real time & your local proppy expert will keep you updated on your sale at all times.

Sit back and let your local Proppy expert (agent) run the open homes & take care of business. First impressions really do count. Check out our tips for making your house stand out and for ideas on how to prepare for a welcoming open home so that your agent can get a maximum sale price for you. If you’re selling by online auction, gather the family round, hold a party, or just be a cave man and watch the online auction alone. When the online auction’s over, and you’ve climbed back down off the ceiling, we’ll send you a link to the Sale and Purchase Agreement, which you’ll sign digitally (more secure than a handwritten signature).

When the Sale and Purchase Agreement is unconditional, the finalised document will be sent to you, the buyer and your solicitor. Then your solicitor swings into action, to handle the conveyancing side of the purchase. Job done. Couldn't be easier.

It’s an easy process - just your name, email address, password and you'll need to agree to Proppy's terms and conditions. Once you’ve joined with us you can do your due diligence on the properties you are keen on. If you access 'My Proppy', you’ll find a whole raft of information on the properties in your watch list. Where possible, we will do our best to give you information on comparable sales, a LIM, certificate of title, a building maintenance report & a copy of the sale and purchase agreement. If you are keen to make an offer on the property, whether by auction, tender or offer we do need you to verify your identity. To do this we just need your address and proof of identity. Either a driver’s license or passport will do the job. If you're a non-NZ resident, you'll need a NZ solicitor to verify your identity. You will need to agree that you understand our Proppy buyer’s agreement. Now the exciting bit! You are ready to you take part in the buying process – online!

When you place the winning bid or ‘buy me now’ we will confirm this by email and update your My Proppy page. If you make an offer by negotiation or tender, we’ll email to let you know if your offer has been accepted or declined and we'll update your My Proppy page. As soon as the sale and purchase agreement goes unconditional you’ll pay a 10% deposit into a trust account. Documents can easily be downloaded and shared with your solicitor. Now your solicitor can swing into action!

On confirmation of all the paperwork, the balance of the purchase price will be paid on settlement. At this point you will be given a set of keys and can move in. Too easy!
